Leith Walk is a genuine test of concentration: a tram line down the middle, bus lanes that switch on and off, cycle lanes, loading vehicles and pedestrians crossing between them. Lessons here break that down into manageable pieces — lane discipline first, then timing, then reading the whole street at once.

Around the Shore and Bernard Street the streets tighten and the junctions come quickly, which is excellent practice for observation and forward planning. Constitution Street and the Ocean Terminal approaches add multi-lane decision making under time pressure.
